A cumulative public awareness ‘indaba’ of organisations involved in wildlife conservation.

The Rhino may be the mascot and most publically recognised cause, but we all also represent the conservation of all animal species and other conservation initiatives.

Our goal for Saturday 23rd’s ‘Indaba’ is to not only network with each other, but to share learning’s, resources and our vision for a future project that is currently on the drawing board that will combine elements from 2 successful campaigns of last year.

This new project will hopefully involve returning to Vietnam on another Demand Reduction campaign. We intend taking a far more visual element with us to highlight our message on their home soil:

  • Buy No Rhino: Vanessa Wiesenmaeir and her sister Vicky cycled over 6000 km in 2015 from Hong Kong to Singapore in their Demand Reduction campaign.
  • Walking 4 Rhinos and Rangers: Anton Fouche walked a life-sized fibre glass Rhino from the Limpopo province to Cape Town – a distance of 1500 km
  • Awesome South Africans: A local initiative highlighting and celebrating the Awesome things South Africans are doing.
  • Braam Malherbe: (Pending Availability) Motivational Speaker Extreme Adventurer Conservationist TV Presenter Philanthropist Youth Developer Author
  • One Land Love It: Wayne Bolton is currently on his nationwide 6000km adventure cycling to all 19 SANPARKS gates on a conservation drive to show appreciation to our rangers
  • Steve Newman: (Pending Availability) A well know ‘shock’ activist popular for his exploits on cycling and running challenges.
